Quarter Horses are the most popular breed in the United States! Great sprinters, the American Quarter Horse is the fastest breed in the distance of a quarter mile! While Quarter Horses are a fantastic “all-around” breed, they are often used for Western riding and can be seen at rodeos, working on ranches, and performing in the show ring! This breed comes in many colors! The American Quarter Horse Association recognizes: Sorrel, bay, black, brown, buckskin, chestnut, dun, red dun, gray, grullo, palomino, red roan, blue roan,bay roan, perlino and cremello.
